Art Studio Assistant

Our team of Volunteers make a significant contribution to the work we do. We are currently inviting applications from individuals who would like to join our Art team. We are looking for an enthusiastic person (or people) who have a keen interest in engaging with art, enjoy effectively interacting with the people we support, and who have a positive and helpful attitude.

Based at our dedicated Arts hub you will be an active group participant with a flexible attitude that will assist the growth of our program.

Duties will include:

– Assist in the day to day running of a busy Arts programme.

-Help maintaining stock and art materials, ensuring artwork is stored safely

-Assist in the organisation of events, workshops and exhibitions.

– Implementing and maintaining office and information systems

-General artist’s studio duties, such as setting up the room/clearing away.

-An understanding that reliability is critical.

-Be an advocate for the arts

This is an excellent opportunity for someone wishing to pursue a career in the Arts. We will support you with training and ensure that you are confident in the role. Due to the nature of the work, we require all volunteers to undertake a DBS and seek references. We also ask that you can commit to the role for at least three months.
